The Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) is the trade association for more than 75 companies in the UK producing prescription medicines. Its member companies research, develop, manufacture and supply more than 80 per cent of the medicines prescribed through the National Health Service (NHS).
The ABPI also represents companies engaged in the research and/or development of medicines for human use. In addition, its general affiliate membership is for all other organisations with an interest in the pharmaceutical industry.

Bright regularly attend PMCPA training seminars to keep staff up to date with developments and changes to the ABPI code of practice.

Eventia was created in January 2006, following the merger between two complementary trade associations: the Corporate Events Association (CEA) and the Incentive Travel & Meetings Association (ITMA). Eventia is a recognised authority for the events sector providing leadership and representation on important issues to Government, regulators and other public authorities both in UK and Europe. Eventia’s Code of Practice is binding on our members.
